Beloved Benefit Bringing All of Atlanta Together

The Beloved Benefit, a signature program of The Same House, is a heart-and-soul stirring annual experience that brings people together—from every neighborhood and community in Atlanta—to strengthen our city.

We exist to bring all people together to make a long-term sustainable impact in our communities

Inspired by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s vision of the “Beloved Community,” we aim to create a place where everyone loves, respects, and trusts each other. We work with local partners, leaders, and residents to build healthier, more equitable, and vibrant communities.

Stir Souls and Build Bridges

An Extraordinary Evening

The Beloved Benefit raises awareness and funds while encouraging action around key issues. This special evening brings together a diverse group of people to experience an epic annual concert in a unique setting that sparks meaningful conversations. Importantly, 30% of the tickets are set aside for members of our community, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to engage fully in the experience and dialogue.

Sharing a meal has always been a way to break down barriers and build connections. Each year, our Beloved Benefit creates this opportunity by gathering over 2,100 people for an evening filled with food, fun, and moving stories about Atlanta’s resilient and compassionate community.

“The funding from the Beloved Benefit gives Westside Future Fund the ability and means to provide affordable housing opportunities to legacy residents in the footprint we serve. Some of those opportunities are down payment assistance to purchase a home and rental assistance to those interested in renting an apartment. Without funding, the mechanism, or resources to provide affordable housing are not possible. Funding moves the needle by creating attainable housing support for the legacy residents, in return creating generational wealth.”
