Our Impact

Our Journey So Far

At The Same House, we’ve been working to make a difference in our communities.
Here’s an overview of our impact:

2019

We held Atlanta's first Beloved Benefit, raising $5.1 million to support five beneficiary organizations making a difference on Atlanta's historic Westside. Additionally, ten grassroots organizations each received $25,000 to fund their efforts in the area.

2020-21

The COVID-19 pandemic forced us to slow but not halt our efforts. Seven Beneficiaries each received $100,000 to focus on affordable housing and community development. The Beloved Conversation Series was launched to help build community connectivity while meeting the challenges of the times. More than 2 million people have since viewed seasons 1 and 2 of the Beloved Conversation Series.

2022

The Beloved Benefit raised $6.3 million for eight Beneficiaries fostering economic mobility across Greater Atlanta. Another ten growing grassroots organizations each received grants toward their efforts within their own backyards across the Greater Atlanta area.

2023

We established The Same House public benefit corporation, further solidifying our commitment to addressing social and economic challenges. The August 24, 2023 Beloved Benefit supported organizations like Boys & Girls Club of Metro Atlanta, First Step Staffing, Russell Innovation Center for Entrepreneurs, Urban League of Greater Atlanta, and Westside Future Fund. We also welcomed mental health beneficiaries CHRIS180, Hillside, Inc., and Silence the Shame.

Looking Forward

We are rolling out and expanding our programs in 2024! Bringing Tables Across America to cities across the country, expanding Youth Lead Georgia to develop more future leaders and the next Beloved Benefit is in development for 2025!
